CETQAP Launches “QuantumHER”: Free 1-Year Quantum Computing Diploma for Women & Girls

A new initiative aims to open doors for women and girls in one of technology’s fastest-emerging fields.

Islamabad, Pakistan — August 2026: A new initiative titled “QuantumHER” is calling attention to the growing need for greater participation of women and girls in quantum computing, offering selected candidates a fully funded one-year diploma program in Quantum Computing.

According to the program announcement, QuantumHER is jointly presented by CETQAP, PkTron and QuboTronics LMS, with the goal of providing learners with a structured pathway from foundational concepts to more advanced quantum-computing skills.

⚛️ From Quantum Basics to Advanced Skills

The initiative promises a curriculum progressing through:

  • Quantum Computing fundamentals
  • Intermediate-level concepts
  • Advanced and expert-oriented topics
  • Quantum programming and applications
  • Practical learning through an online LMS environment

CETQAP publicly lists a one-year Quantum Computing diploma curriculum that includes introductory quantum computing, Python for quantum systems, linear algebra, quantum mechanics basics, quantum gates and circuits, Grover and Shor algorithms, quantum cryptography, entanglement and Qiskit projects.

🎓 A Fully Funded Opportunity

The QuantumHER announcement describes the program as completely free of cost for selected candidates, making it particularly significant for students who may otherwise find specialized quantum-computing education difficult to access.

The initiative is also specifically designed for women and girls, positioning the program as a pathway toward greater female participation in quantum technology.

🌐 Why Quantum Computing Matters

Quantum computing is rapidly becoming an important area of research and education worldwide. Universities and technology organizations are increasingly developing educational pathways to prepare students for the emerging quantum workforce.

Pakistan’s quantum ecosystem has also been expanding. CETQAP has publicly announced quantum-computing education programs and software initiatives, including its PkTron quantum-computing framework. Its recent public releases describe capabilities spanning quantum simulation, machine learning, cryptography, optimization and error-correction research.

🚀 The Bigger Picture

QuantumHER comes at a time when quantum education is moving beyond university research laboratories and toward broader student education.

If successfully implemented at scale, initiatives like this could help introduce more young women to fields such as quantum software, quantum cybersecurity, quantum algorithms, research and emerging quantum technologies.

The announcement states that applications are currently open and seats are limited.

The quantum era is coming — and QuantumHER is positioning women and girls to be part of the generation building it.
